Siblings

Both out of the bay mare Canyonleigh Memphis Belle.
Chestnut 10y.o Canyonleigh Victorious is by American Saddlebred stallion C. Big Shot
Brown/Black 7y.o.mare Bloomsbury's Maybellene is by the Warmblood Richmeed Medallion
Both have lovely, training attitudes and paces.
Victor started in Endurance at age 4 but has adjusted immediately to some dressage training with Jeremy Janjic.
Maybellene has had consistent classical schooling from Jeremy and is currently training Elementary/Medium movements.

Bloomsbury's Sir Galahad

At 3 years old, "Laddie" is filling into himself nicely. (currently 16:2hh and growing.) Ready to start serious training in dressage and refine his jumping technique.
A serious competition partner for a rider wanting to excel!
He's a very "serious" young man, very 'reflective'; considers carefully everything he's confronted with, and "masters" all that's asked of him.
Trainer, Jeremy Janjic, says he 'has lots of gears' to employ!!
A lovely "character".
Depth of breeding for the job: by Brae Galaxy (by Gullit, who was sold to Carl Hester of Britain for the Sydney Olympics, out of a Biathlon mare (dressage credentials)), out of Bloomsbury's Maybellene (by Richmeed Medallion (by International supersire Mai Sherif x Brit Jenny Loriston Clark's Dutch Gold) xCanyonleigh Memphis Belle..addiing ASB lightness, relatability and attitude!!)

Training update

The rain has played havoc with competition opportunities.
Singleton Dressage annual Championships were postponed twice because of wet weather in November/December 2011 and then the third attempt on February 5th was cancelled again after downpours during the preceding week! So Maybellene was "all dressed up with nowhere to go". Hopefully Hunter Valley DA and Alexander Park may get a dry run in the next month.

Brooke Piper has entered C.Paeon in a couple of Dressage events around the Central Coast only for both to be washed out. Delighted to see she's off to Lucinda (Prior-Palmer-)Green's eventing clinic at Quirindi with Max and Pan; re-scheduled from mid-week this week, to the weekend, apparently due to the wet weather. Love to hear how she goes! Lucinda was my eventing heroine in my youth!!
